What content management system (CMS) do you use?
We build all our websites using WordPress, the world’s most popular CMS. It’s reliable, flexible, and easy to use, even if you’re not tech-savvy. We also set up a user-friendly backend editor that makes it simple for you to update text, add images, or make changes to your website whenever you like, without needing to touch any code.
What other features are included in your website packages?
In addition to the design and content setup, all websites include essential tools to help you succeed online:
- Google Analytics tracking – so you can monitor website traffic and understand your audience.
- Visitor heatmapping – see how users interact with your site (e.g. clicks, scrolls) for better decision-making.
- Security measures – we install standard security tools to help protect your website from threats.
- Automated backups – We set up weekly backups of your website for added security. In addition, the web hosting we provide takes a daily backup and stores it securely for 14 days, giving you a reliable recovery option if needed.
- Basic SEO setup – We’ll set up your website with the option to add meta titles and descriptions for each page, giving you control over how your site appears in search results.
- Search Engine Submission – We’ll also submit your website to major search engines like Google and Bing to help it get indexed faster.

Yes. Additional pages can be added at NZ$75.00 per page. You can expand your site anytime, now or in the future.

Absolutely. All our websites are responsive and mobile-ready, ensuring they look great and work well on mobile, tablet, and desktop devices.
How long will it take to complete my website?
Depending on content and communication, most affordable websites can be completed in 1-2 weeks.
Can I upgrade later?
Yes, you can upgrade from the Launch Pack to the Grow Pack anytime before the website is approved and the final invoice is issued.
Once the website is approved and the invoice has been issued, upgrades are no longer available, but you can still request additional pages at NZ$75.00 per page.
Do I need to sign a contract?
No long-term contracts are required. Everything is project-based, and you retain full ownership of your website once payment is made.
However, if you choose to move your DNS hosting to Cloudflare and would like us to manage it on your behalf, we’ll ask you to sign a simple DNS Authorisation Form. This allows us to manage your DNS settings responsibly and ensures transparency in how your domain is handled.
Do you offer eCommerce websites?
Not with these packages. Please contact us for custom eCommerce solutions.
Content
Do I need to have all my content ready before you create a draft?
Yes, all website content must be provided before we begin development.
Because we don’t take a deposit upfront, we ask that you only request to start your project once you have your full content ready. This ensures the website build moves forward smoothly and avoids unnecessary delays.
In the past, we’ve found that when content isn’t ready at the beginning, projects can be held up for months, often due to unexpected life or business demands. To be fair to both parties, we prefer to start when everything is prepared and timelines are realistic.
Here’s what we need before getting started:
- Your logo
- A finalised sitemap or page structure
- Text for each website page (e.g. Home, About, Services, Contact)
- Any photos you’d like included
Your content doesn’t need to be perfect, just complete enough to launch. Once your website is live, you’ll have full backend access to update and improve it anytime.
What if I don’t have a logo?
No problem! If you don’t have a logo, we’ll simply use your business name in a clean, text-based format that looks professional and fits your website’s design.
Many businesses successfully use text-only branding, especially when starting out. If you’d like a simple logo created, you can use an online tool like logo.com to design one quickly and affordably — and we’ll happily add it to your site once it’s ready.
Do you provide content writing services?
No, content writing is not included in our affordable website packages. Clients are required to provide all website content, such as page text, headings, and navigation structure, before development begins.
If you need help with writing, we can recommend a few trusted content writers who can assist you separately.
If you’re still finalising your content, you’re welcome to start with introductory text written by you, and easily refine it later using your full backend access after the website goes live.
Domain
Can I use my own domain name?
Yes, you can use your own domain if you already have one. We also offer a free domain name (1-year registration) as part of the Grow Pack.
Do I need to transfer my domain to you if I already have one?
No, we don’t need to transfer your domain to us. You can keep your domain registered with your current provider. When it’s time to launch your website, we’ll only request access to update your DNS settings. This allows us to configure the necessary records so your website, contact forms, and other services (like email) function correctly.
We use Cloudflare to manage DNS, which helps improve website speed, security, and reliability. While not required, we recommend moving your DNS to Cloudflare for the best performance, and we can assist you with this setup.
If you choose to move your DNS hosting to Cloudflare and would like us to manage it on your behalf, we’ll ask you to sign a simple DNS Authorisation Form. This ensures transparency and allows us to manage your DNS settings responsibly, while you retain full control and ownership of your domain at all times.
Will moving my DNS to Cloudflare affect how I renew my domain?
No, it won’t affect your domain renewal in any way. Your domain will still be managed through your original registrar, and you’ll continue to receive renewal notifications directly from them.
Moving DNS to Cloudflare only changes where your domain settings (like website and email records) are managed – not your domain ownership or billing. You’ll retain full control over your domain at all times.
What if I don't have a domain yet?
If you don’t have a domain, we can help you register one. A free 1-year domain registration is included with the Grow Pack.
Will my domain email keep working after you launch the site?
If you’re already using a domain-based email (like yourname@yourbusiness.co.nz), we’ll ensure any DNS changes we make don’t interrupt your email service. Just let us know your email setup in advance, and we’ll preserve your current email settings when launching the site.
Can I get a custom email address with my domain?
Email services aren’t included in our website packages, but we can recommend reliable providers such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, or Zoho Mail if you’re looking for a more budget-friendly option. If needed, we can also help you connect your domain to one of these services for an additional setup fee.
Will you remind me when my domain is about to expire?
If your domain was registered by us as part of the Grow Pack, yes, we’ll notify you before it expires so you can renew it in time.
If you’re using your own domain provider, you’ll need to monitor renewal notices and expiry dates through them directly.
Hosting
Is hosting included in these packages?
Yes, 6 months of free web hosting is included with both the Launch and Grow Packages.
After the initial 6 months, you have three options:
- Continue hosting with us – We offer ongoing hosting at our standard rate, with local support and reliable performance.
- Move to another hosting provider – We can assist you in transferring your website to your own hosting provider for an additional setup fee.
- Move it yourself – Prefer to handle it yourself? No problem. We can provide you with a complete website backup at no cost, so you can move it on your own.
Where is the website hosted?
We host your website on reliable, fast servers with New Zealand-based provider. Hosting includes security features and automated backups.
Do I get to keep the website if I move hosting later?
Yes. The website is 100% yours.
Payment
When do I need to make a deposit?
No deposit is required upfront. You’ll only need to make payment after you’ve reviewed and approved the draft website, and before we make the site live.
This ensures you’re completely happy with the result before committing to payment, while still keeping the launch process smooth and efficient.
Is the package price inclusive of GST?
GST is not applicable. Our business is not currently GST-registered, so all prices listed are GST-exempt in accordance with New Zealand tax regulations.
What are the payment options?
We accept NZ bank transfer. Stripe card payments are also available (processing fees apply).
Do you offer payment plans or split payments?
Currently, we don’t offer payment plans for our affordable website packages. Our pricing is already kept as low and accessible as possible, with no upfront deposit required and payment only due once you’re satisfied with the result.
Are payments refundable?
Because we only take payment after the draft is completed and approved, our packages are non-refundable once payment is made and the website is ready to go live. If there are any concerns before payment, we’ll work with you to resolve them prior to launch.
Will I receive a payment receipt or invoice?
Yes, you’ll receive a PDF invoice and payment receipt.
Maintenance
Do you handle updates to the website software?
Yes, during the first 6 months of free hosting, we’ll handle basic maintenance, including updates to the CMS and plugins to keep your site secure and stable.
However, if a major version release occurs (which is rare), we won’t apply it automatically during this period. Major updates often require extra testing and adjustments to ensure your site continues to function correctly – and that falls outside of the free maintenance scope. If needed, we can quote for this separately.
What if I break something on my website?
Don’t worry, we can help you fix it. If it’s a minor issue, we may resolve it quickly at no cost. For larger fixes or rework, we’ll provide a quote before starting any work. Weekly backups are also in place and can be used to restore your site if needed, free of charge.
